Luxury homes in Imperial Valley exist and through the downturn in the housing market has affected all price ranges, this high-end segment has taken a lower hit than most other ranges. There are a still a handful of luxury home listings available over $500,000, those listings I call The Five over Five Hundred.
What do all of the listings have in common other than their lofty listing prices? Size, land and amenities! All of the homes listed come with plenty of living space, with the smallest of the group coming in at just around 3,000 square feet, while the largest of the five comes in at just over 5,000 sf of luxurious living.
